On site in Brentwood, TN, this Brokerage Financial Consultant role provides consultative, sales and technical support to Financial Advisors. The position focuses on meeting client needs and sourcing prospective clients while guiding the advisor team in strategic planning and execution of its value proposition.

Benefits eligibility and details

All regular teammates working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits, though eligibility for specific benefits may depend on the division offering the position. Responsibilities

  • Help shape the strategic direction of the Financial Advisor team to drive revenue growth.
  • Consult clients and prospects by analyzing goals, objectives and risk tolerance to identify suitable investment products and services, and implement those solutions as appropriate.
  • Assist clients with trades, information requests, research, account issues, and related requests.
  • Provide ongoing client relationship management, including advisory counsel, relationship reviews and service initiatives.
  • Participate in the preparation for and delivery of client presentations and engagements.
  • Support the Advisor in developing and maintaining a profitable level of securities and insurance sales by pursuing opportunities identified through external networking and internal referrals.
  • Adhere to professional and ethical standards established by Truist, FINRA, and other regulatory bodies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or Banking, or equivalent education and related experience.
  • Four years of professional experience, including one year in the securities industry.
  • FINRA Series 7 and 66.
  • Applicable state health and life insurance licenses; jurisdictional registrations must match the advisor(s) supported.
  • Organized and self‑motivated individual with strong analytical, problem‑solving, interpersonal, persuasion and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
