Job Description

Support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance analysis for Confluence Health through advanced variance reporting and Axiom system expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct monthly and quarterly budget variance analysis for Service Lines and meet monthly with operational leaders to review results.
  • Build actionable proformas using the cost accounting system to support operational leadership decision-making.
  • Manage and organize large datasets across multiple systems with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide technical assistance and customer service to end users related to Axiom training, variance reporting, and transaction research.
  • Perform Axiom technical and maintenance activities including dimension structure, security, upgrades, budget plan files, and timely scheduled reporting.
  • Serve as an Axiom super-user, producing reports accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist with preparation of the annual budget and track adherence to the budget throughout the year.
  • Track and analyze financial impacts of year-implemented projects tied to Focused Growth, Productivity and HR, Revenue Cycle and Value Based Care, and Supply & Purchased Services opportunities.
  • Deliver end user training for new users, budget-season training, and group training (as lead or support).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferably related to business or accounting).
  • Ability to attend classes or seminars and complete assigned certification(s).
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Additional Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional healthcare experience related to accounting or budgeting.
  • Experience with Infor, Axiom, Epic, and Excel.
  • Healthcare budgeting or accounting experience strongly preferred.
  • HFMA member.
