Job Description
The Finance & Business Management Associate supports JPMorganChase's Corporate Responsibility function by helping establish a centralized business management capability focused on expense control, invoice processing, and budget monitoring. The role partners with senior finance leaders to drive process efficiencies and deliver clear financial insights.
Responsibilities
- Process and track a high volume of invoices, overseeing expenses and contribution activity, vendor onboarding, and associated risk checks.
- Design and document standardized workstreams to improve consistency and efficiency across programs.
- Assist with monthly budgeting, tracking, and forecasting to maintain accurate outlooks aligned to plan.
- Identify and propose enhancements to budgeting and forecasting processes to support a growing organization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to promote strong controls, rigor, and attention to accuracy in financial outcomes.
- Prepare financial analyses and reporting with clear insights for quarterly and other periodic reviews.
- Support broader finance and business objectives through ad hoc analyses and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in financial services or a business management-related role.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency with core MS Office tools.
- Solid understanding of finance fundamentals, including budget management and expense discipline.
- Ability to analyze, synthesize, and structure data into clear, stakeholder-ready narratives.
- Strong attention to detail and an ability to identify errors and strengthen controls.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to build partnerships across a matrixed organization.
