Job Description
The City of Piqua seeks a Finance Director to oversee fiscal management and financial operations for a full-service city.
Responsibilities
- Provide fiscal oversight and financial responsibility for a full-service city.
- Establish strong trust with City Commission and the public to enhance the credibility of City government.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Public Administration, Business Management or related field.
- Ten years of progressively responsible experience in a local public agency or municipal government, including six years in a supervisory role.
- CPA preferred with demonstrated continuing professional development and solid experience with the principles and practice of city management, including budgeting, finance and government program evaluation.

Compensation and Location
- Salary: USD 114,000 - 146,000 per year
