Location and compensation

The role is based in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania with a hybrid work arrangement. The annual salary range is $105,000 to $120,000. Actual compensation varies based on education, experience, skills, internal equity, and market data, and may be adjusted based on geographic location.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation, analysis, and presentation of financial results, clearly identifying drivers, trends, and their implications for the business
  • Collaborate with business leaders as a strategic advisor, delivering actionable insights to inform decisions and enhance financial performance
  • Lead the design, development, and ongoing enhancement of dashboards and reporting for client, program, and distribution profitability
  • Aggregate data from multiple financial systems and databases to produce clear, management-ready analyses and recommendations
  • Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting cycles; supervise the monthly forecast and annual budget to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with objectives
  • Support and coordinate the monthly close in partnership with Controllership and Accounting Operations, ensuring results are understood and communicated
  • Provide robust financial analysis to support achievement of objectives, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and profitability assessments
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, coordinating data collection, consolidation, challenge, and analysis across units
  • Collaborate with business units to establish annual sales incentive targets; manage quarterly incentive payouts and coordinate approvals with producers and managers
  • Conduct deal modeling and what-if analyses to evaluate financial impact, risk, and opportunities for new and existing initiatives
  • Govern Cost Benefit Analyses, including development, review, and tracking of actual costs and realized benefits versus approved CBAs
  • Translate large, complex data sets into concise executive-level presentations and materials
  • Serve as a key liaison among Controllership, Accounting Operations, and Business Operations to ensure alignment and clear communication
  • Proactively adapt to shifting priorities, deliverables, and timelines while upholding high standards of quality and accuracy

Requirements

  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs, priorities, and timelines, with openness to new ideas and responsibilities
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership who quickly learns the business, systems, and role requirements
  • Strong organization and planning skills, accountability, logical prioritization, and consistent on-time delivery of high-quality work
  • Results-oriented with a focus on outcomes and a continual drive to improve processes, service delivery, and financial performance
  • Attention to detail with the ability to validate data, clarify complex information, and support sophisticated financial analyses
  • Process-oriented approach to defining milestones, resource needs, and scalable delivery
  • Clear, concise communication with stakeholders at all levels; translates financial insights into actionable recommendations
  • Six or more years of FP&A experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
