Finance Manager

The Finance Manager role at Shelby Honda & Shelby Kia is focused on leading day-to-day financial operations while supporting profitability, compliance, and deal execution in an in-person setting in Shelby, North Carolina.

Key Responsibilities

• Structure deals to support maximum profitability and collectability.
• Maintain full proficiency with title laws and the registration process.
• Stay current on required proficiency and certifications for the position.
• Accurately desk deals, submit deals to lenders for approval, make credit decisions, and effectively close deals.
• Ensure all deals remain fully compliant with local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Prepare required paperwork and contracts, and deliver deals as part of the financing process.
• Prepare and mail complete deal packages with proper documentation to lenders, and follow any additional process required by the respective department.
• Accurately audit team deals post-sale.
• Support expeditious funding for all contracts.

Required Qualifications

• College degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Three years automotive or finance sales experience.
• Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures.
• Professional personal appearance and excellent communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, along with computer software and internet proficiency.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to close a deal.
• Valid driver’s license.
• At least one year of automotive finance experience.
• Automotive Finance experience: 5 years (required).

Compensation

USD 150,000 - 250,000 per year.
