Job Description

The Finance Manager will join the FP&A team at N-able, a publicly traded cybersecurity SaaS business. This role centers on consolidated top line planning, forecasting, and reporting, with a direct link to ARR outcomes and support for investor and internal earnings workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, coach, and mentor a financial analyst, reinforcing best practices and supporting career development.
  • Own consolidated top line planning, forecasting, and reporting for N-able, connecting business inputs such as bookings and renewals to ARR outcomes.
  • Lead recurring top line workflows, including weekly flashes, monthly writeups, QBR materials, and BOD materials.
  • Partner with Investor Relations to support quarterly Earnings processes, including guidance, Q&A preparation, and other earnings-related packages.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for General Managers and Go-to-Market leadership, translating business inputs into ARR outcomes and pressure-testing assumptions with constructive pushback.
  • Partner with Business Intelligence and Pricing & Packaging to help pursue net-new ARR opportunities and commercial strategies.
  • Develop strong unit economics understanding to support commercial decision-making.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A or similar analytical roles; SaaS or technology industry experience is a strong advantage.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS metrics and how they connect to ARR growth.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex financial information into clear narratives for a range of audiences.
  • Proficiency in Excel, with the ability to build flexible, dynamic models from scratch.

Preferred Skills

  • Prior people management experience.
  • Experience with Tableau, PowerBI, Anaplan, and AI tools (MSFT Copilot, Claude), which is highly desired.
