Job Description

Stellantis is seeking a Finance Value Creation Cost Lead to anchor the partnership between finance and the Supply Chain Value Creation team in Auburn Hills, MI.

This onsite role translates financial data into actionable cost-saving opportunities and ensures accurate tracking of value-creation results, targeting more than $360 million in reductions.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead finance partner to the VP of Supply Chain Value Creation, delivering timely insights, robust forecasts, and actionable decision support to steer cost-reduction priorities toward achieving more than $360 million in targeted savings.
  • Leverage financial and operational data to identify, quantify, and rank cost-saving opportunities across sourcing, logistics, manufacturing footprint optimization, inventory management, and process efficiency improvements.
  • Build and maintain the value creation initiative pipeline, establishing standardized financial assumptions, unambiguous benefit definitions, and consistent methodologies for tracking and reporting progress.
  • Vet business cases by thoroughly reviewing inputs, underlying assumptions, timing, risks and opportunities, and alignment with established financial targets.
  • Collaborate across functional areas including Supply Chain, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Programs, and Accounting to assign clear ownership, define milestones, and establish measurable financial outcomes tied to the value-creation agenda.
  • Validate P&L realization for initiatives after implementation, reconcile planned savings with actual results, and explain variances by driver and timing to maintain accountability.
  • Ensure month-end close and reporting accurately reflect progress on value creation and cost reductions, including proper accruals, reclassifications, and supporting documentation as needed to maintain audit trails.
  • Produce recurring reporting packages and executive dashboards that summarize initiative status, run-rate savings, year-to-date performance, and outlook versus plan, enabling senior leadership to monitor progress and adjust priorities.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation for initiatives and realized savings, ensuring full traceability from initiative approval through P&L impact and any subsequent adjustments.
  • Lead ongoing improvements to financial tracking processes, data quality, and reporting automation to increase accuracy, speed, and transparency in value-creation reporting.
