Financial Accountant

Join Anderson Communities Inc in Lexington, KY for an onsite Financial Accountant role at a competitive hourly rate of $27 to $30. You will support timely financial reporting, budgeting assistance, and in-depth analysis across residential properties, partnering with the finance team and property managers to ensure accurate, actionable numbers. Responsibilities

• Develop and support the annual budget process
• Regularly analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank reconciliations
• Produce and share budget versus actual reports to property management on a monthly basis
• Generate monthly profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports for all residential entities
• Respond to financial inquiries from the executive and leadership team
• Prepare and analyze financial reports per unit and per square foot
• Assist the Accounting Manager on finance, tax and audit projects, along with other assigned tasks

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent computer and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize, multitask and problem-solve
• Strong attention to detail
• Clean background check and drug test required
