Job Description
METRO Financial Strategies offers a full-time opportunity for a Financial Administrator in Chelmsford, MA (onsite). In this role, you’ll provide financial, analytical, and operational support to clients with the guidance of established procedures, helping keep day-to-day planning and banking activities running smoothly. The position offers a salary range of $60,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year, with the expectation of minimum 3 years of experience in financial services (and required education at the Bachelor’s level).
What you’ll do
As a Financial Administrator, you will coordinate and perform a range of financial and operational support activities designed to serve and support clients. The work includes maintaining routine client contact, keeping information organized, and supporting financial planning and banking processes under limited supervision.
- Build and maintain client relationships while delivering excellent customer service.
- Provide office support such as answering telephones, processing transferring paperwork, opening accounts, estate processing, updating cost basis, and resolving problems or inquiries.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, events, and appointments to support advisor and client workflow.
- Prepare financial planning reports for client meetings.
- Support banking activities, including depositing checks, sending checks, and initiating ACH/Wires to clients.
- Calculate required client withdrawals and complete related analysis for financial planning purposes.
- Generate custom client reporting and tax records.
- Enter trades based on advisor instructions.
- Establish, maintain, and update files, databases, records, and compliance documents.
- Maintain routine contact with clients and team members to obtain, clarify, and provide facts and information while projecting a professional image.

- Minimum 3 years of experience in financial services.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite to create professional documents and track client interactions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow instructions, and adhere to deadlines.
