Stautzenberger College is hiring a campus-based Financial Aid Advisor in Maumee, OH to guide students and families through the financial aid process.

Advise prospective, new, and current students, and their families or support system throughout the financial aid process
Apply thorough knowledge of financial aid options, including GAP options, VA, third-party programs, and general student eligibility criteria
Counsel students and parents on eligibility, guidelines, and available programs covering tuition, loans, verification, payment plans, and third-party scholarship funding
Perform verification analysis for students selected via the FAFSA, determining and requesting additional information and submitting corrections as applicable
Complete assigned duties with a high degree of accuracy while working through multiple interruptions to support compliance
Handle other responsibilities and duties as assigned

Associate’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that develops comparable skills
Minimum 1-3 years of financial aid experience preferred
Strong attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and succeed in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to discreetly handle confidential matters while complying with FERPA and privacy regulations
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a high-performance team
Ability to live within a commutable distance to Maumee, OH for an onsite role
