Financial Analysis - Marketing - Senior Associate

Senior Associate in Marketing Finance & Business Management at JPMorgan Chase, onsite in Wilmington, DE, responsible for financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to support marketing initiatives and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual and ongoing financial planning for assigned product areas
• Provide month end performance insights and forecast rationales to inform business decisions
• Conduct reviews and deep dive analyses of product financial performance
• Analyze consumption, demand planning, budgeting, billing, trends, and exception reporting
• Create efficiency reporting, analytics, and strategic insights (eg location strategy, span of control)
• Develop business cases to support new initiatives
• Monitor key metrics, drive data quality initiatives across the product area, and define forward looking reporting and analytics needs
• Develop and track performance metrics, prepare presentations, and provide financial analysis to senior management
• Perform variance analysis and explain key drivers versus prior forecasts or budgets
• Design new reports and dashboards and streamline processes through controls and automation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a technically oriented field
• 4+ years of experience in Financial Analysis, Business Management, Planning & Analysis, Accounting, Controller or related field
• Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
• Proficiency in data mining and manipulating data sets
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to handle large data sets and derive concise conclusions
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to articulate complex issues clearly
• Ability to create ad hoc reporting for senior management
• Proven track record delivering special projects with limited lead time and ambiguity
• Team oriented, capable of thriving under pressure and tight deadlines with solid prioritization
• Proven ability to manage relationships and act as a trusted partner to the Business, Finance, and P&A stakeholders
