Financial Analyst

Financial Analyst role with Harbinger Motors Inc on the Corporate Finance team in Garden Grove, CA (onsite), offering USD 70,000 to 110,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly rolling forecast process for operating expenses, capital expenditures, and headcount by refining assumptions and maintaining financial models.
• Assist in the annual budgeting cycle by partnering with Operations, Sales, and Marketing leaders to validate data and consolidate submissions.
• Maintain and enhance forecasting models to improve reporting accuracy and drive planning efficiency.
• Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and scenario models to inform business initiatives and operational decisions.
• Perform monthly variance analysis by comparing actual results to budget and forecast, identifying key drivers and impacts.
• Produce recurring financial reports, dashboards, and presentation materials for finance leadership and business partners.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across the business.
• Analyze operating expenses and departmental spending to support cost management initiatives.
• Collaborate with business leaders to understand operational performance and provide financial support for budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Work with the Accounting team during month-end close to ensure complete and accurate financial results reflected in forecasts.
• Respond to financial inquiries from business partners and management with timely, precise analysis.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting processes through automation and standardization.
• Assist with the development and maintenance of reporting tools, dashboards, and planning templates.
• Document financial processes and maintain planning assumptions to support consistency and internal controls.
• Participate in finance system enhancements, reporting improvements, and other continuous initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related quantitative field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, accounting, or financial consulting.
