Job Description
The Financial Analyst at Pregis LLC will deliver financial reporting and analysis to strengthen decision-making for the Protective Products Business Unit. This role supports the FP&A Director with management and performance reporting, analysis of critical business drivers, and ongoing attention to data quality.
Role Overview
Key areas include forecasting and annual operating plan support, improving reporting processes and automation, and completing financial activities such as journal entries and reconciliations. The position also provides analytical support to management and senior leadership across key business components and the market environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the commercial team with key customer reporting, sales rep reporting, and pricing and margin analysis.
- Develop and present financial data in a way that communicates actionable information to management.
- Provide financial analysis support to senior leadership on key business components and market environment.
- Use reporting systems effectively by identifying and driving reporting and process improvements and/or automation.
- Lead and assist with continuous improvement of reporting systems, including development, modification, and implementation as needed.
- Assist in creation of forecasts and the annual operating plan.
- Process journal entries and perform reconciliations.
- Perform other duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance.
- 2-3 years of progressive financial experience.
- Strong analytical skills and communication skills.
- Willingness to work extended hours and travel as needed.
- Ability to work independently with a sense of urgency.
- Experience in process improvements with quantifiable results to measure effectiveness.
- Data analysis and tool experience.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Proficiency in SAP (preferred).
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (preferred).
- Strong business acumen with a high degree of proficiency in data mining and financial model development.
- Organized and detail-oriented approach to work.
- Curiosity to challenge numbers and dig into the story behind results.
- Problem-solving mindset with a desire to solve business issues.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively through personal initiative.
- Ability to operate as a business partner, align cross-functionally, and build relationships across the organization.

Compensation
- Base pay range: $64,000 to $77,000 per year, depending on experience and skills.
- Base pay is one component of Pregis’ total compensation package.
