Job Description

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Financial Relationship Advisor within Wealth and Investment Management (Wells Fargo Advisors) to help support both prospective and existing clients from a corporate office setting. In this role, you will guide onboarding, contribute to asset growth, and deliver ongoing, high-touch client service while meeting fiduciary and suitability expectations.

Based on the listed posting locations, the position may be available in Chandler, AZ (onsite), as well as Salt Lake City, UT and Saint Louis, MO. The role requires 4+ years of relevant client management experience.

What you will do

Own the client onboarding experience by assessing client goals, financial circumstances, investment knowledge, and advice preferences to recommend suitable wealth management solutions
Support business growth by identifying opportunities to increase assets under management, including helping clients fund new accounts, expand relationships, and transition into advisory solutions aligned to their objectives
Educate clients on Wells Fargo Advisors offerings across self-directed investing, advisor-supported solutions, and professionally managed portfolios to help clients choose an approach that fits their needs
Build and maintain meaningful, ongoing client relationships through proactive outreach and ongoing advice focused on retention and asset growth
Use sales acumen, financial expertise, and client insights to identify additional product, service, and planning opportunities that support client outcomes
Apply regulatory, compliance, and firm policies while making recommendations that meet fiduciary and suitability standards
Make sound business decisions and address client concerns in a timely, professional manner while balancing client needs, risk management, and business objectives
Collaborate with peers, leaders, and business partners to help achieve individual and team sales goals through timely updates, shared outcomes, and a strong client experience that supports referrals

Qualifications

4+ years of client management experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education
US only: Successfully completed FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65) examinations (or FINRA recognized equivalents) sufficient to qualify for immediate FINRA registration

Skills and capabilities

Ability to run consultative client discovery conversations, identify client needs, and recommend appropriate investment, advisory, and managed account solutions
Working knowledge of brokerage, advisory, managed account, retirement, and self-directed investment offerings
Demonstrated ability in asset gathering, client retention, relationship expansion, and solution-based sales
Strong capability to build trust, deepen relationships, and explain complex financial concepts clearly
Results-oriented approach to sales, including identifying opportunities, addressing objections, and supporting informed financial decisions
Sound judgment and independent decision-making in a fast-paced environment
Strong organization and prioritization skills to manage multiple client relationships at once
Proficiency using technology and digital tools to support client engagement, onboarding, and relationship management
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Office is listed under technologies)

Licensing and employment expectations

US only: Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate FINRA license(s) is required for ongoing employment
FINRA Series 66 (or 63 and 65), or equivalent, must be completed within either 90 or 180 days after commencement depending on the number of licenses needed if not immediately available to transfer upon hire
Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements is mandatory; additional product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply
Enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards apply
Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA licensing review process at the time of offer acceptance
For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite is required
