Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst role at Nashville Soccer Club focuses on turning financial data into practical insights to support planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analyses.
• Help build budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
• Review financial performance and key business metrics to surface trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Support management’s strategic initiatives through ad hoc financial modeling and business case analyses.
• Maintain and improve financial reporting tools, including dashboards and KPI tracking.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support initiatives that improve financial performance.
• Assist with accounting and month-end close as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of proven experience as a financial analyst or in a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and modeling.
• Understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
