This onsite Financial Analyst role reports to the European Corporate Controller and focuses on dependable, timely financial forecasting and budgeting for the portfolio. Working closely with European revenue management, operations, and accounting teams, you will help turn detailed analysis into timely information for real-time decision making.

What you will do

• Perform timely analysis of revenues and expenses, including variable and fixed overhead, comparing actuals to budget, forecast, and prior year.
• Partner with European leaders to identify cost reduction and savings opportunities relative to budget and the most recent forecast.
• Compile and review financial reports to spot discrepancies that require senior management attention, ensure discussions include real-time improvements, and support forecast updates into the monthly forecast cycle.
• Continuously build useful analysis reports using system technology to improve team efficiency and speed of analysis.
• Maintain forecasting accuracy through disciplined analysis and follow-through.
• Act as the coordination point person for the annual budget process, including significant coordination with all departments across the portfolio.
• Proactively analyze weekly A/R reports to minimize financial risk, and communicate A/R issues and developments to management.
• Maintain professionalism and good judgment in employee communications, including in difficult situations.
• Support special projects as needed, including audit support.

What you bring

• At least 4 years in financial forecasting and budgeting in a service-based industry; Hospitality or F&B is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (preferred).
• Experience within the Oracle platform, specifically the PBCS module within Oracle.
• Working knowledge of general accounting principles.
• High accuracy and strong attention to detail, with excellent organization and the ability to prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Outstanding critical thinking and analytical ability, plus strong Excel skills.
• A positive, proactive attitude and ability to build effective working relationships with key senior leadership across the European platform.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work overtime as necessary to complete assigned duties.
