Job Description
Lockheed Martin Space in Cape Canaveral is seeking a Financial Analyst III to steward program finances through budgeting, earned value management, and variance reporting, delivering leadership-ready insights to keep the project on track with its financial commitments. The role requires a minimum of five years of related experience and a bachelor’s or master’s degree (or equivalent experience), reflecting a focus on precise financial control within a high‑stakes space program.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Finance Management, Program Management, CAMs and Finance Analysts to ensure the program meets its financial commitments.
- Load and maintain budgets in the Earned Value Management tool (COBRA).
- Use the Earned Value Management system to measure cost and schedule performance and generate monthly variance reports.
- Develop presentations for upper management on a weekly and monthly cadence.
- Prepare Comprehensive Estimates at Completion (CEACs) and assist with proposal Basis of Estimates (BOEs).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum five years of related experience in budgeting or finance.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience managing budgets or other finance-related tasks.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance.

Work Schedules
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
