Job Description
Truist Bank is seeking a Financial Consultant to support Financial Advisors in Fort Lauderdale with consultative, sales and technical guidance to meet current client needs while actively sourcing new opportunities. This onsite role places you at the intersection of client advisory, team leadership, and strategic planning, contributing to the value proposition delivered to clients and shaping the team's direction. You will bring regulatory- and product-savvy expertise to a fast-paced advisory environment and help drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Participate in establishing the strategic direction of the Financial Advisor team to increase revenue.
- Consult with clients and prospective clients by analyzing goals, objectives and risk tolerance to determine suitable investment products and services, and implement those solutions as appropriate.
- Assist clients with trades, information requests, research, account issues, and related tasks.
- Provide ongoing client relationship management support, including counsel, relationship reviews and client service initiatives.
- Support the preparation for and delivery of client presentations and engagements.
- Assist the Advisor in developing and maintaining a profitable level of securities and insurance sales by pursuing opportunities identified through external networking and internal referrals.
- Adhere to professional and ethical standards set by Truist, FINRA, and other regulatory bodies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or Banking, or equivalent education and related experience.
- 4 years professional experience, including 1 year of experience in the securities industry.
- FINRA Series 7 and 66.
- Applicable state health and life insurance licenses, jurisdictional registrations must match that of the advisor(s) supported.
- Organized and self-motivated individual, with strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, persuasion, and relationship management skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software.
