FTI Consulting is seeking a Senior Consultant to join its Transactions Financial Due Diligence team within Corporate Finance & Restructuring in Atlanta. This role provides financial and accounting consulting across the deal life cycle, with a focus on quality of earnings, working capital analysis, forecasts, and related diligence activities.
Role Overview
As a Senior Consultant, you will support clients through financial due diligence by preparing, evaluating, and communicating historical and pro forma financial findings. You will also contribute to industry and company research and deliver reporting materials to clients and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver financial and accounting consulting services within Corporate Finance practice areas.
- Prepare, review, and evaluate historical and pro forma financial information to identify trends and fluctuations affecting cash flow and deal valuation.
- Conduct industry and company research and assist in preparing reports and schedules for client and third-party delivery.
- Maintain engagement communication with clients and internal staff, while providing updates to senior team members on progress and issues.
- Network and build internal relationships with members of the Transaction team and other FTI Consulting service lines.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs Degree in Accounting, Finance, Informational Systems, Economics, or a related field of study.
- 3+ years of post-graduate professional experience in accounting, audit, or finance.
- Ability to travel to clients and FTI office(s) as needed.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; the position will not sponsor work visas.
- CPA certification.
- Knowledge of GAAP and SEC requirements.
- Experience with the financial due diligence process and financial modeling.
- Experience with transactions advisory.
- Client or industry experience in one or more of the following: Manufacturing, Retail, Consumer Goods, Technology, Media, or Energy.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and the full MS Office suite.

Compensation and Work Location
Location: Atlanta, GA (onsite)
Compensation range: USD 78,500 to USD 163,000 per year.
The compensation range reflects potential base salary for the role. Actual compensation is determined based on market considerations, business needs, and an individualβs location, skills, level of experience, and qualifications.
