Job Description

Build an affluent client practice with structured training, mentorship, and a clear career path. As a Financial Consultant Partner (FCP) at Charles Schwab in Sandy Springs, GA, you will support Senior Financial Consultant(s) while developing the advisory skills and client engagement capabilities needed to grow your impact. This onsite role pairs hands-on branch experience with live learning and performance-based incentive opportunities.

What you’ll do

  • Develop strong working relationships with Senior Financial Consultant(s) and act as a trusted partner supporting client engagement, service, and ongoing business development
  • Support the delivery of client solutions aligned to clients’ financial goals
  • Spot opportunities to deepen relationships and drive growth within the practice
  • Prepare for and support client meetings, including documentation and follow-up
  • Collaborate across the branch and firm to help create a seamless client experience
  • Maintain accurate client information and support day-to-day operations

Training, growth, and career path

Your development is supported through Schwab Training and Development. You will start with Wealth Management University, a four-week, live virtual program designed to build your foundation. After that, you will continue developing through hands-on training and mentorship within your branch, working closely with your manager, peers, and mentors for guidance tailored to your goals.

The role also provides a pathway toward becoming a Financial Consultant, building client relationships, business development skills, and financial expertise. Schwab supports a “choose your own adventure” approach, including opportunities to explore leadership, expanded branch roles, or roles across service and support teams, with encouragement for continuous learning over time.

In addition to base pay, the position includes bonus and incentive opportunities tied to performance.

Requirements

  • FINRA Series 7: valid and active license required
  • FINRA Series 66 (63/65): currently hold or be prepared to obtain during your tenure
  • Life & Health Insurance: currently hold or be prepared to obtain during your tenure
  • Relevant experience in financial services or a similar client-facing, sales, or advisory environment preferred
