Head of Finance
Job Description
Alnamo Corp is seeking a Head of Finance in Manhattan, NY (onsite) to support the Bank’s growth and profitability goals through strong financial controls, reporting, and strategic planning. This role combines oversight of accounting, taxation, and investor-facing responsibilities with ownership of key policies that help the organization stay compliant while improving operating performance.

Responsibilities
- Assist the Country Head in achieving the Bank’s growth and profitability objectives within the required framework.
- Own the Bank’s Financial Controls, Related Party Transaction Policy, and External Auditor Review Policy.
- Own additional policies as required.
- Direct preparation of financial reporting, including income statements, balance sheets, reports to shareholders, tax returns, and reports to government regulatory agencies.
- Oversee the accounting department, budget preparation, and statutory audit functions.
- Meet regularly with department heads to stay informed and provide direction.
- Own all taxation-related matters for the bank, including advising relevant departments on tax issues.
- Review reporting to compare projected vs. actual revenue and profit, track budgeted expenses vs. final totals, and recommend improvements to planning processes as appropriate.
- Analyze bank operations to identify opportunities and areas to reorganize, down-size, or eliminate.
- Maintain working relationships with regulatory agencies, capital markets, the investment community, and business partners.
- Develop and implement a vendor management program focused on cost savings through price negotiation and evaluation of vendor effectiveness.
- Develop inter-company policies, transfer pricing strategies, and tax planning strategies to ensure compliance with all tax rules and regulations.
- Handle analyst and investor relations, including rating agencies.
- Maintain an effective working relationship with statutory External Auditors to support a periodic audit and ensure there are no corrected or uncorrected misstatements in the audit report.
- Perform other special duties as assigned by the Country Head.
