Job Description

Join Experian Software Solutions as a Junior Finance Business Partner with a flexible hybrid setup from the NY office. This role blends financial reporting, technology cost analysis, and business partnership to help strengthen FinOps and improve financial decision-making across technology spend, including cloud and GenAI. You will also be eligible for a variable pay opportunity, with a compensation range of USD 63,964 to 110,872 per year, plus core benefits and matching 401(k).

Location: New York, NY (hybrid)
Reporting to: Vice President of Finance

What you’ll do

  • Deliver financial reporting and analysis that explains technology costs to internal stakeholders.
  • Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning for technology operations.
  • Create business cases and perform financial analysis to support technology investment and governance approvals.
  • Analyze the financial impact of major technology initiatives, including cloud and AI spending.
  • Help design and improve FinOps processes to strengthen technology cost management.
  • Partner with finance and technology teams across the organization to improve financial performance and consistency.
  • Monitor and provide insights on GenAI adoption, usage, and related spending across the finance team.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes through automation, analytics, and AI.

What you bring

  • 1 to 5 years of experience in financial management, financial analysis, or corporate finance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Preferred experience with cloud technology costs, FinOps, or AI/GenAI spending.
  • Experience building business cases, financial models, and strategic financial analysis.
  • Understanding of accounting principles and financial controls within a technology environment.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience working with large datasets to produce accurate financial analysis.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders in a large or global organization.
