Job Description

Onsite in Richfield, OH, the Lead Financial Analyst will drive FP&A activities including modeling, budgeting, variance analysis, and monthly close support, partnering with operations to deliver actionable SAP-driven insights.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
  • Perform in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, collaborating with the Operations team to refine projections and provide commentary.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management and field operations management.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to gather financial data and ensure accuracy.
  • Assist in the annual budget process and periodic reforecasts.
  • Support the monthly close with variance analysis and accrual accuracy insights.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Extract, analyze, and report data using SAP.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and special projects as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 4-5 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • CPA or MBA a plus.
  • Preferred background in utilities, telecommunications, construction, or service industries working closely with Operations teams.
  • Strong accounting foundation, including knowledge of GAAP and financial statement analysis.
  • Experience with month-end close and/or preparation of expense accruals.
  • Proven experience with SAP and SAC-P modules preferred.
  • Experience with financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace (Sheets, Gmail, etc).
