Job Description

HP is hiring a Principal Financial Analyst to support Personal Systems Global Supply Chain initiatives from Spring, TX (onsite). In this role, you will lead and advise multiple analysts across finance sub-functions and across geographies or organizations, translating financial and operational results into actionable reporting, reconciliation, and planning insights.

The position centers on leading critical business programs while strengthening capital strategy execution and strategic focus. You will perform highly complex financial analysis, partner with business leaders on long-term decision-making, and drive globally relevant process improvements and policy development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and advise on the most critical business initiatives, overseeing several analysts across finance sub-functions and across geographies or organizations.
  • Support the business by ensuring capital strategies are operationally enabled and strategically aligned to support the greatest return on investment for HP’s global operations.
  • Conduct highly complex financial analysis for a financial function or business using a deep understanding of the organization to meet objectives.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to guide and influence long-term and strategic decision-making.
  • Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives with global impact.
  • Provide counsel and information on controls, budgeting and planning, return on investment decisions, and the development of overall business plans and strategies.
  • Represent the business unit in cross-regional or cross-functional planning processes.
  • Generate innovative ideas and, when applicable, lead large cross-functional teams while applying independent judgment to resolve unique and complex business problems.
  • Act as a functional manager within the area of expertise, setting functional policy and direction and contributing to strategy.
  • Mentor and guide lower-level employees to support the execution of operational and strategic plans.

Required Qualifications

  • Four-year or graduate degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline, or commensurate work experience demonstrating competence.
  • Typically 10+ years of work experience, preferably in financial management, internal audit, accounting, or a related field.
  • CPA certification.
  • CFA certification.
