Regional Finance Coordinator

Centers Health Care seeks an experienced Regional Finance Coordinator to manage financial operations for Skilled Nursing Facilities across Upstate New York. Based in Syracuse, NY and working onsite, this position supports regional performance through revenue cycle oversight, compliance, and close partnership with facility leadership.

USD 85,000 - 115,000 per year

Overview

The Regional Finance Coordinator will oversee the financial performance of a portfolio of skilled nursing facilities within the region. The role emphasizes monitoring revenue cycle outcomes, strengthening internal controls and corporate policy adherence, and identifying financial risks and opportunities to drive action plans. Ongoing collaboration with Administrators, DONs, and other facility leaders is central to improving financial and operational results.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial performance for a portfolio of skilled nursing facilities within the region
• Partner with Administrators, DONs, and facility leadership to improve financial and operational outcomes
• Monitor revenue cycle performance, including billing, collections, and reimbursement processes
• Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies and internal controls
• Identify financial risks and opportunities, and develop action plans accordingly
• Provide coaching and financial education to Business Office Managers and facility leadership

Requirements

• SNF experience
• Ability to travel throughout Upstate New York
• Experience overseeing financial performance across multiple healthcare facilities
• Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and SNF reimbursement models
• High comfort level working with executive and facility leadership teams
• Analytical, detailed, and organized approach
• Ability to travel regularly throughout Upstate NY
• Good communication skills
