Senior Finance Manager

Responsibilities

• Steer the budgeting process end to end, producing the annual plan and monthly financial statements, housing/grant billing, income statements, balance sheets, cash flow analyses, and related fiscal reporting.
• Oversee bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll operations to ensure timely and accurate processing.
• Maintain fiscal quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance by writing procedures, refining processes, and implementing robust internal controls.
• Coordinate audit activities and prepare materials for external examinations and internal review.
• Upload and reconcile ADP payroll data into Sage 50 to maintain aligned payroll records.
• Submit HUD billing accurately and on schedule.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field with a minimum of 5 years in a senior finance role.
• Strong computer proficiency, including MS Office, Sage 50, and online systems.
• Experience working in a nonprofit environment.
• Professional demeanor with strong multi-tasking ability, solid verbal and written communication, and high organizational standards.
