Job Description
This on-site Senior FP&A Analyst role supports DaVita's National Hospital Services Group in Denver, CO, owning core FP&A processes and partnering with operations to drive financial results with exposure to senior executives. The position offers a salary range of USD 62,000 to 95,000 per year and requires a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Own and execute core FP&A processes for the Hospital Services Group, including annual budgeting, long-range planning, and routine forecasting.
- Simplify complex or ambiguous financial, business, and operational problems through hypothesis-driven analytic approaches.
- Leverage Hyperion Essbase, Anaplan, and Tableau to improve forecasting accuracy, financial modeling, and data analytics.
- Rapidly internalize how business processes operate and develop data-driven recommendations that challenge the status quo.
- Deliver timely, accurate recurring financial reporting and variance analyses that provide meaningful insights for senior executives.
- Translate financial insights into actionable recommendations that drive differential results or new strategies in operations.
- Manage multiple priorities, identify critical issues, and proactively address roadblocks with limited supervision.
- Partner directly with Operations and Field Finance leadership to drive results and align on operational goals.
- Present financial models, variance drivers, and strategic research to Hospital Services leadership and other senior executives.
- Communicate concisely with a bias toward action and measurable outcomes.
- Promote a team culture of trust and continuous learning, mentoring more junior colleagues and providing constructive feedback.
- Pursue professional development opportunities and incorporate feedback to improve performance.
Requirements
- Experience: 2+ years in FP&A, investment banking, accounting, corporate finance, or a related analytical role. Healthcare experience is preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, modeling). Experience with Hyperion Essbase, Anaplan, Tableau, or similar tools is strongly preferred.
- Analytical Expertise: Proven ability to think critically about business and operational problems and use quantitative data to drive solutions.
- Adaptability: Curious, eager to learn, and comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced and potentially ambiguous environment.
- Communication: Exceptional written, oral, and presentation skills with the ability to convey insights to executive leadership.
- Work Ethic: High accuracy, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
