Job Description

Senior IC recruiter responsible for full-cycle hiring across enterprise divisions (GTM, operations, finance, and technology) in a high-volume environment, based in San Francisco with NYC option.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end recruiting for individual contributors and leaders across the enterprise organization.
  • Source, outreach, assess, offer, and close candidates for a broad mix of commercial and technical roles, including Engagement Managers, Strategic Project Leads, Associates, applied AI and code-delivery engineers, account owners, operators, and supporting functions.
  • Support hiring across commercial, operations, GTM, finance, business, engineering, applied AI, and other specialized teams as the division expands.
  • Drive high-volume sourcing, outbound outreach, candidate calls, pipeline development, interview coordination, offer management, and closing activities personally.
  • Develop a strong top-of-funnel through creative outbound sourcing, referrals, talent mapping, market intelligence, targeted campaigns, recruiting events, and proactive channels.
  • Collaborate with company leadership, General Managers, Engagement Managers, Account Leads, Strategic Project Leads, and other hiring leaders to map needs, define profiles, calibrate hiring bars, and push searches forward.
  • Translate changing business needs into actionable recruiting strategies and adapt as priorities evolve.
  • Evaluate candidates from high-growth startups and other high-talent-density environments with rigorous standards.
  • Assess candidates for performance, trajectory, stability, motivation, adaptability, and suitability for a fast-paced startup context.
  • Represent the company externally as a credible ambassador to senior candidates in technology and AI markets.
  • Clearly communicate the company’s mission, business model, growth trajectory, expectations, and employee value proposition while ensuring a high-quality candidate experience.
  • Manage fast-moving interview processes, proactively addressing compensation, competing opportunities, timing, motivation, and closing risks.
  • Coach hiring managers on structured interviewing, candidate leveling, evidence-based evaluation, and disciplined hiring decisions.
  • Drive same-day debriefs, rapid feedback, expedited offers, and other recruiting service-level expectations to compete for top talent.
  • Build and continually improve practical recruiting systems while remaining deeply involved in daily execution.
  • Track and optimize critical funnel metrics, including sourcing activity, response and conversion rates, pass-through, time in stage, time to fill, source yield, interview-to-offer, offer acceptance, and fill rates.
  • Identify bottlenecks and leverage data to improve sourcing effectiveness, interview velocity, and overall outcomes.
  • Collaborate on dashboards, reporting, process automation, and workflow improvements using Ashby and other recruiting tools.
  • Support employer-brand initiatives through candidate campaigns, referrals, events, market engagement, and consistent representation of hiring standards and mission.
  • Introduce structure and operational rigor without hindering execution in an evolving environment.
  • Take ownership of assigned hiring outcomes with a relentless focus on quality, speed, responsiveness, and follow-through.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of owning full-cycle recruiting for IC and leadership roles.
  • Highly execution-oriented, personally sourcing, outbounding, screening, coordinating interviews, negotiating offers, and closing hires.
  • Experience in high-volume recruiting with substantial sourcing, outbound activity, and candidate outreach.
  • History of meeting aggressive timelines while maintaining a high talent bar.
  • Generalist recruiting experience across commercial, GTM, enterprise sales, account management, operations, finance, business, project leadership, engineering, applied AI, and related functions.
  • Familiarity with both commercial and technical hiring, including sales, account management, engineering, and applied AI profiles.
  • Not narrowly specialized in a single niche; demonstrated success across multiple functions.
  • Experience in high-growth startups or high-talent-density companies with rigorous hiring standards.
  • Strong sourcing instincts to identify, engage, and close highly sought-after passive candidates.
  • Ability to credibly partner with General Managers, Account Leads, hiring managers, and company leadership.
  • Proven ability to build scalable, practical hiring systems and use funnel metrics to improve outcomes.
  • Willingness to introduce structure and process while staying personally involved in daily recruitment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the confidence to represent a high-growth AI company to senior candidates.
  • Proactive, high-motor, outcome-driven work style with urgency across multiple concurrent searches.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity, evolving requirements, and long hours when necessary.
  • Sound judgment, attention to detail, accountability, responsiveness, and follow-through.
  • Evidence of stable tenure and impact; repeated roles lasting fewer than two years raise concerns.
  • Familiarity with Ashby or the ability to quickly adopt new recruiting tools and workflows.
  • Willingness to work in person five days per week in San Francisco, with consideration for NYC for exceptional candidates.
