Job Description
The Vice President, Finance at SESLOC Credit Union is responsible for overseeing core finance activities and delivering analytical support to leadership. The role works closely with the CFO and senior team members to strengthen organizational performance, long-term financial strength, and regulatory readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead key finance functions, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, profitability analysis, pricing support, investment portfolio support, and asset-liability management.
- Partner with the CFO and leadership team to provide financial insights that support decision-making, organizational performance, and long-term financial strength.
- Manage the relationship with SESLOC’s asset-liability management partner.
- Support effective interest rate risk modeling, financial planning, and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Eight to ten years of accounting and/or finance experience, preferably within a credit union or financial institution.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
- Experience interpreting financial data and providing recommendations to support business decisions.
- Understanding of accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

Role Details
Location: San Luis Obispo, CA (onsite)
Compensation: USD 165,000 to 190,000 per year
Experience Level: Minimum 8 years
