Vice President of Finance

The Vice President of Finance role at Jerry's Nugget Casino is an onsite position in North Las Vegas, NV, focused on delivering accurate, timely financial reporting and strengthening financial controls across the organization. This position oversees cash flow and cash management, leads accounting and audit activities, and ensures regulatory compliance, including gaming requirements and Title 31/AML.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce all casino financial reporting, including Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Financial Statements
• Oversee compliance with applicable gaming regulations, internal controls, anti-money laundering (AML) obligations, and company policies
• Manage and lead the Accounting and Audit Manager, including Accounts Payable and Payroll personnel
• Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
• Monitor cash flow, revenue tracking, and reconciliation processes
• Schedule external auditors and coordinate related audit activities
• Ensure oversight and enforcement of internal controls and accounting procedures
• Ensure complete compliance with Title 31 / AML, including required reporting, training, and internal controls
• Oversee gaming compliance processes and coordinate with regulatory agencies as required
• Partner with executive leadership on financial strategy and decision-making
• Manage tax payments and related fees, including permitting, and applicable State, County, and City fees and licensing

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience serving as VP of Finance, Financial Controller, or Senior Accounting
• Direct experience with gaming compliance and regulatory reporting requirements
• Strong working knowledge of Title 31 (AML) compliance, including CTR/SAR processes and internal controls
• Proven ability managing and developing teams
• Strong understanding of GAAP and casino-specific accounting practices
• High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
• Fully versed in General Ledger Accounting
• Fully versed in Payroll Processes and Payroll Taxes
• Directly manage Accounts Payable and accounting inventory

Compensation and Location

• Location: North Las Vegas, NV (onsite)
• Salary: USD 200,000 per year
