VP of Finance/CFO-Transportation

Kennesaw Transportation, Inc is seeking an experienced VP of Finance/CFO to lead financial operations for a transportation and logistics–focused fleet. The role directs financial reporting, forecasting, financing, and accounting, with trucking or logistics experience strongly preferred. This is an on-site position in Rome, GA, with a required ability to commute to Rydal, GA 30171.

Compensation ranges from USD 77,324 to 93,121 per year. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree and 7–10 years of progressive finance/accounting leadership experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
• 7–10 years of progressive finance/accounting leadership experience (preferred)
• Trucking, transportation, logistics, or fleet experience strongly preferred
• Strong background in financial reporting, consolidations, forecasting, budgeting, and GL accounting
• Experience with banking, financing, debt reporting, equipment loans, and cash flow management
• Strong Excel and financial systems skills
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical abilities
