VP of Finance/CFO-Transportation

Executive-level VP of Finance / CFO to lead financial operations for a transportation and trucking focused company based in Woodstock, GA.

Responsibilities

• Direct all financial operations including reporting, forecasting, financing, and accounting functions
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Lead corporate consolidations
• Oversee general ledger accounting
• Steer the budgeting process
• Direct forecasting activities
• Monitor and manage cash flow
• Manage banking relationships
• Oversee lender reporting requirements
• Supervise equipment financing initiatives
• Establish and maintain internal controls
• Lead and develop the accounting team
• Provide clear financial insights to ownership and executive leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
• 7–10 years of progressive finance or accounting leadership experience preferred
• Trucking, transportation, logistics, or fleet experience strongly preferred
• Strong background in financial reporting, consolidations, forecasting, budgeting, and general ledger accounting
• Experience with banking, debt reporting, equipment loans, and cash flow management
• Proficiency in Excel and financial systems
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical abilities
• Solid understanding of GAAP

Compensation

• Salary range: USD 77,324 - 93,121 per year
