Job Description
Fort Lee, NJ (Onsite) Accounting/Finance Manager role partnering with the Senior Accounting Manager across close, reporting, compliance, and finance operations with required bilingual skills (English and Korean).
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Senior Accounting Manager to run daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and expense management
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Prepare and review financial statements and management reports for local management and headquarters, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP
- Manage cash flow and coordinate with banking relationships; help forecast short-term funding needs for the U.S. sales entity
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax and reporting requirements in coordination with external tax advisors
- Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures to safeguard assets and support audit requirements
- Coordinate and support annual financial audits and other external reviews as needed
- Provide guidance to junior accounting staff or external service providers under the overall direction of the Senior Accounting Manager
- Partner with Sales, Logistics, and HQ finance teams using financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions
- Manage office operations, facilities, and vendor contracts
- Support HR administration, compliance, and internal communications
- Control GA budget and administrative expenses
- Perform other administrative and general affairs duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including closing and reporting; experience working with a Senior Accounting Manager or similar senior role is a plus
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and general corporate tax and compliance concepts
- Proficiency with accounting/ERP systems and MS Excel; experience with a mid-size ERP is preferred
- Language: English and Korean
