Automotive Finance Manager - Experienced

Major Motor Cars in Santa Monica is seeking an experienced Automotive Finance Manager to drive the F&I backend revenue engine. This onsite role focuses on structuring profitable, compliant finance and lease options and managing lender relationships to bolster dealership profitability. The position requires a minimum of five years in automotive F&I.

Job Details

• Location: Santa Monica, CA (onsite)
• Salary: USD 72,000 - 200,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Structure and present finance and lease options tailored to each customer profile
• Maximize backend gross through F&I product sales (GAP, warranty, protection plans)
• Secure approvals across multiple lenders and optimize deal structure
• Present payment options clearly and confidently to close financing
• Ensure all deals meet California compliance (contracts, disclosures, lender requirements)
• Finalize contracts and ensure timely funding of deals
• Build and maintain strong lender relationships
• Train and support Sales team on deal structure and finance positioning

Requirements

• 5+ years automotive F&I experience
• Proven high backend gross performance
• Strong closing, objection handling, and negotiation skills
• Deep knowledge of credit tiers and lender programs
• Experience with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and CRM
