Automotive Sales Team Lead / Finance Manager Trainee

Start with a sales leadership path and build toward dealership finance management at Ron Tonkin Chevrolet in Portland, OR. This onsite role combines front-line customer-facing responsibilities with a structured Finance Training Program that supports your development through mentorship, hands-on learning, and leadership preparation. Compensation: USD 60,000 - 150,000 per year (based on performance, experience, and advancement).

What you will do

• Engage with customers to understand their automotive needs and preferences
• Showcase and demonstrate vehicles, highlighting key features and benefits
• Conduct test drives and provide product knowledge to support informed purchase decisions
• Collaborate with the sales team to meet and exceed dealership goals
• Lead within the sales department by mentoring others and setting a high standard for professionalism and performance
• Participate in finance and leadership training to prepare for advancement into a Finance Manager role
• Learn dealership finance products, lending processes, compliance requirements, and deal structure fundamentals
• Work closely with the Finance Department to ensure smooth and efficient transactions
• Follow up with customers to maintain relationships and deliver an exceptional ownership experience
