Job Description

Opportunity for a Brokerage Financial Consultant at Truist Bank, onsite in Hixson, TN.

Responsibilities

  • Help shape the strategic direction of the Financial Advisor team to drive revenue growth.
  • Consult clients and prospects by evaluating goals, objectives, and risk tolerance to identify suitable investment products and services, and implement them where appropriate.
  • Assist clients with trades, information requests, research, and account issues.
  • Provide ongoing client relationship management support, including continuous counsel, relationship reviews, and service initiatives.
  • Support the preparation and delivery of client presentations and engagements.
  • Assist the Advisor in building and maintaining a profitable level of securities and insurance sales by pursuing opportunities discovered through external networking and internal referrals.
  • Adhere to professional and ethical standards set by Truist, FINRA, and other regulatory bodies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or Banking, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Four years of professional experience, including at least one year in the securities industry.
  • FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses.
  • State health and life insurance licenses, with jurisdictional registrations aligned to the advisors supported.
  • Well organized and self-motivated, with strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and relationship-management capabilities.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
  • Regular employment type, English language proficiency, and 1st shift work schedule.

General Benefits Overview

Regular teammates working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits, though specifics may vary by division.
