Job Description
TuttiQuanti LLC is seeking a Director of Accounting & Finance to lead and modernize the finance and accounting function for a private equity-backed manufacturer following an acquisition. This on-site role in Salt Lake City, UT reports directly to the CEO and is designed for an experienced leader who can strengthen GAAP-compliant processes, sharpen financial visibility through KPIs, and drive a key ERP implementation.

Responsibilities
- Lead the accounting and finance function by establishing disciplined processes for month-end close, financial reporting, inventory accounting, and internal controls to support a growing private equity-backed business.
- Partner with the CEO and executive leadership to develop budgets, rolling forecasts, cash flow projections, and actionable financial insights to support strategic decision-making and business growth.
- Assess the current finance organization and implement improvements to team structure, systems, and business processes that make the finance function more efficient and scalable.
- Serve as the finance lead for the company’s upcoming ERP implementation, improving financial workflows, system integration, and cross-functional business processes.
- Create meaningful financial and operational KPIs, including dashboards and reporting that improve leadership visibility into business performance and key trends.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team while building a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience in manufacturing, wholesale distribution, consumer products, or other inventory-intensive environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
- Hands-on experience leading GAAP-compliant financial reporting, month-end close, internal controls, and inventory accounting.
- Proven ability to build scalable finance organizations, improve processes, and develop meaningful financial reporting and KPIs.
- Experience partnering with executive leadership on operational and strategic business decisions.
- Advanced MS Excel skills and experience leading or supporting ERP implementations.
- Comfort operating through change, process improvement, and organizational transformation.
- CPA designation and experience in a private equity-backed organization are strongly preferred.
- Power BI, commercial reporting, and revenue analysis experience is a plus.
- Ability to work primarily on-site in Salt Lake City, UT.
