Director of Finance

Lead finance strategy and day-to-day financial operations for Dec’s North America business in a hybrid role based in Mauston, WI.

Responsibilities

• Direct end-to-end financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, planning, cash flow management, and financial reporting
• Drive cash management priorities across the North America business
• Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership to shape and execute growth strategies for the region
• Ensure alignment with global financial objectives and required reporting
• Oversee accounting activities, internal controls, audits, and statutory reporting
• Manage tax planning, compliance, and filings across applicable jurisdictions
• Supervise legal matters, including contracts, regulatory issues, and risk management
• Manage external auditors during the year-end audit process
• Partner with Operations and Engineering on supply chain and procurement strategies to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Partner with Operations to improve efficiency and strengthen cost control across sourcing, logistics, and warehousing
• Identify, assess, and execute regional M&A opportunities
• Lead due diligence, integration planning, and post-deal implementation

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of progressive financial and operational experience in a leadership role
• Strong background in industrial manufacturing, ideally in private equity-backed businesses
• Big 4 public accounting and audit experience is helpful
• Experience managing the financial function of a foreign subsidiary within a multinational group
• Track record scaling operations in high-growth environments, including M&A execution
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, tax law, and regulatory standards
• ERP system expertise; Power BI or equivalent experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field (required)
• MBA or CPA preferred

Location and Work Schedule

• Mauston, WI (hybrid remote)
• Two days per week on site potential hybrid schedule
• Ability to commute to Mauston, WI 53948 (required)

Compensation

• $150,000 - $180,000 per year
