Finance Analyst - Money Movement

State Farm is seeking a Finance Analyst to support Money Movement activities for the Payment Centers at the Atlanta Insurance Support Center in Alpharetta, GA. In this hybrid role, you will assist with day to day payment center operations, help drive automation and efficiency improvements, and support reporting and audit needs using technical tools. You will also collaborate with Enterprise Technology teams to resolve issues and support new implementations and projects.

The position focuses on partnering across business and technology areas while contributing to risk and compliance initiatives as required. Work will include internal coordination with cash and enterprise technology teams, as well as maintaining relationships with Enterprise Technology product owners.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily Payment Center activities, including mail operations, e-Services, and bank operations
• Assist the department with additional automation and efficiency efforts
• Provide guidance and support during internal and external audit reviews
• Consult and assist with special projects and new product development
• Use technical tools for ongoing reporting, including Microsoft products and QlikSense
• Support enterprise risk and compliance initiatives and projects as required
• Collaborate with internal cash and enterprise technology teams during problem resolution and new project implementations
• Maintain and build relationships with Enterprise Technology product owners

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively with multiple business areas, technical areas, and leadership at various levels
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
• Knowledge of internal cash, ledger, and payment applications
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities

Work Arrangement

• 50% Hybrid (10 days per month in-office)
• Must live within a reasonable daily commuting distance to Alpharetta, GA
• In-office collaboration days: Wednesdays to Thursdays (flexible)
• Flexible start time between 6:30 AM to 8:00 AM, Monday through Friday

• Potential starting salary range: $56,420 to $83,535 annually
