Job Description

Onsite in Plainwell, MI, this role supports day-to-day finance and purchasing operations at Profielnorm USA, including key accounting workflows, supplier coordination, and inventory-related transactions. Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Managing Director and Controller with ongoing financial tasks.
  • Process vendor invoices by verifying accuracy, coding, and required approvals.
  • Maintain vendor records and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with monitoring outstanding payables and payment schedules.
  • Support preparation and collection of documentation for federal, state, and local tax filings.
  • Help ensure compliance with multi-state tax requirements.
  • Research, evaluate, and identify potential suppliers aligned with cost, quality, and service objectives.
  • Create and issue purchase orders in accordance with approved budgets, inventory needs, and production schedules.
  • Maintain accurate product pricing, supplier information, and item descriptions within the ERP system.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for order acknowledgements and proactively monitor delivery schedules.
  • Collaborate with operations, production, and finance teams to support material availability and efficient inventory levels.
  • Provide general administrative and operational support as needed to meet business objectives.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in a related field.
  • Minimum three years of experience preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience working with Excel/Microsoft Office.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, integrity, and self-discipline.

Tools and Systems

Excel, Microsoft Office, and an ERP system.
