Job Description

Kia of Abilene invites you to lead the F&I team in a hands-on, onsite role based in Abilene, Texas. This Finance Manager position focuses on maximizing profit per vehicle while delivering a smooth, customer-focused financing experience. The base salary ranges from $90,000 to $120,000 annually, with eligibility for performance bonuses based on experience and results.

Responsibilities

  • Lead our F&I Department
  • Structure deals by pairing customer needs with lender options to achieve strong approval rates and solid profitability
  • Present finance and protection products such as GAP, extended warranties, and prepaid maintenance in a consultative manner
  • Ensure 100% compliance with state and federal regulations and Kia corporate guidelines
  • Optimize Department Performance
  • Monitor daily gross profit, penetration rates, and F&I gross per vehicle, and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Collaborate with sales management to set monthly finance goals and forecast performance
  • Coach and develop staff by mentoring junior finance associates on presentations, disclosures, and finance paperwork

Requirements

  • A proven Finance Manager with 2+ years of dealership experience; F&I licensing is required
  • Strong relationships with banks, credit unions, and captive financing sources and the ability to negotiate effectively
  • Exceptional communicator who explains loan terms and protection products in clear, customer-friendly language
  • Data-driven: tracks and improves metrics such as finance penetration, backup product penetration, and reserve percentage
  • Natural coach who trains sales staff on compliance, disclosures, and maximizing deal profitability
