Finance Manager

This onsite role in Pleasant Valley, NY emphasizes precise financial reporting, thorough job costing analyses, payroll and tax compliance, and delivering actionable insights to the President.

Responsibilities

• Direct the QuickBooks-based accounting function, safeguarding the integrity of the general ledger and all financial data.
• Deliver detailed job costing and profitability analyses, monitor overhead, and track Work in Progress to gauge project financial health.
• Manage end-to-end accounting cycles, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, monthly contract billings, and cash receipts.
• Coordinate weekly payrolls and ensure timely, precise filing of federal and state tax reports.
• Generate monthly financial statements and reconciliations to support executive decision-making.
• Provide leadership by establishing standard operating procedures for all accounting activities to drive department efficiency.
