Finance Manager

Finance Manager role at Schlatters Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning in Paulding, Ohio, onsite, offering a part-time schedule with a salary range of USD 50,000 to 75,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable workflow, including vendor invoices, statements, and payment processing
• Administer accounts receivable activities, including customer invoicing, payment posting, and collection follow-up
• Record general ledger entries with account coding and performing basic reconciliations
• Oversee payroll processing, review job tax codes, processing steps, and batch handling
• Track job costs by project or service job, assess profitability and cost accuracy
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Support month-end close and prepare financial reporting
• Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks
• Collaborate with ownership and management to keep accounting information current and organized

Requirements

• Accounting experience required
• Extensive knowledge of QuickBooks required
• Experience with ServiceTitan preferred
• Construction, plumbing, HVAC, or service contractor experience strongly preferred
• Understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activity
• Job costing experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy a must
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
• Good communication and organizational skills
