Financial Analyst role supporting plant finance operations in Pulaski, TN (onsite).

Support and promote a safe work environment at the plant
Assist the Controller with plant financial activities, including GL accounting and reconciliations
Support month-end closing by preparing manual Journal Entries and ensuring proper cost allocations
Maintain internal controls processes and documentation for Sarbanes Oxley compliance
Support internal and external audit activities
Monitor receivables and payables and address issues as needed
Maintain fixed asset folders to track capital projects from CAR to CIP to Assets Register
Track program launch expenses and report to the Business Unit and Plant Management
Support inventory controls, including annual physical inventory, to ensure accurate balances and support perpetual analysis
Support Continuous Improvement initiatives
Support the Controller with monthly outlook requirements, plus annual and long-range plans
Perform cost accounting tasks: BOM review, cost roll-ups, and inventory analysis
Support annual setting of standard costs for material, labor, burden, and overhead
Work with the commercial team to help ensure correct pricing
Complete additional related duties and analyses assigned by the Controller or Plant Manager

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
3+ years of experience in an accounting or finance position; automotive/manufacturing industry preferred
Fluent in MS Office; expert in MS Excel
Experience with SAP and Hyperion preferred
Familiarity with Internal Controls and Sarbanes Oxley requirements
Demonstrated ability to manage complex or ambiguous situations and work under deadlines
Ability to analyze complex data and communicate findings verbally or via presentation
