Financial Analyst

This Financial Analyst role at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ (hybrid) supports budgeting, variance analysis, forecasting, productivity standards, and KPI reporting. The position assists the Budget Manager across annual planning and ongoing performance tracking.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Budget Manager in preparing annual budgets.
• Conduct analysis of budget variances and related performance drivers.
• Develop productivity standards and produce productivity reporting.
• Perform operational benchmarking analysis.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts and reporting of key performance indicators.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in budgeting and accounting, preferably within a healthcare environment.
• Working knowledge of budgetary and financial accounting principles and practices, including the ability to prepare, interpret, and analyze financial statements.
• OR experience in data analysis and data modeling, with the ability to analyze data creatively and present results effectively.
• Knowledge of database management software, including Access and SQL.
• Strong computer skills.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and databases.
• Software implementation and project management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills along with superior writing skills.
• Deadline-oriented work style, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple complex and concurrent projects.

Education

BS/BA required.

Location and Work Model

Camden, NJ (hybrid).

Compensation

USD 29 - 48 per hourly.
