Job Description

Career Recruiting Specialists is seeking a Manufacturing Financial Controller (Plant Controller) to provide hands-on financial leadership for onsite manufacturing operations in Middle, GA.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with plant management and participate as a member of the Site Leadership team
  • Review month-end results, including P&L and Balance Sheet, with variance analysis
  • Review the month-end results package for the plant and present it to Regional / Senior Management
  • Oversee the monthly close process, including Balance Sheet reconciliations and accurate Revenue and Expense reporting
  • Develop monthly financial forecasts and supporting analysis
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis for financial and operating metrics to support business needs
  • Lead the development and analysis of the annual operating plan
  • Oversee SOX Compliance
  • Support Operations with Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives and Appropriation Requests (AR) for capital spending

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a Business-related field required
  • Minimum 3–5 years in an Accounting/Finance role
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office Suite tools
  • ERP systems experience required; SAP preferred
  • Ability to relocate to Dublin, GA 31075 with an employer-provided relocation package (required)
  • Finance and Accounting experience: 6 years (required)
