Job Description

Guidehouse Inc. is seeking a Financial Reporting and Analysis Manager to support a government working capital fund focused on Business Enterprise services. In this onsite role in Chantilly, VA, you will help produce recurring pricing analyses, build and maintain cost-based and market-based pricing models, and ensure demand, pricing, and cost assumptions are aligned to business plans and forecasts.

What you will do

  • Prepare, analyze, and brief financial reporting and pricing analyses, along with other performance measures.
  • Manage accounting lines and expenditures, including monthly or quarterly financial statements and accruals, while coordinating SLA creation and ongoing monitoring.
  • Create and maintain pricing models for Business Enterprise services using both cost-based and market-based approaches, ensuring models reflect actual costs, forecasted demand and costs, and strategic opportunities such as synergies or efficiencies.
  • Partner with Controllers and Finance staff to break products and services into cost pools, including labor, materials, overhead, and indirect expenses, and use those drivers to track expenses and derive annual forecasts.
  • Manipulate financial reporting submissions and pricing models in Excel to align Business Enterprise budgets with long-term financial plans.
  • Review pricing and billing processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.

Qualifications

  • Active and maintained TS/SCI Federal or DoD security clearance with FULL SCOPE (FS/FSP) polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Six (6) or more years of experience in business or financial analysis functions

Nice to have

  • Excel modeling experience
  • Experience developing and presenting costing models for products or services
  • Experience forecasting demand and using breakeven analysis
  • Ability to analyze Business Enterprise performance independently
  • Agency Working Capital Fund experience (financial and operational), including explaining solutions to senior-level executives
  • Experience with Activity Based Costing (ABC)
  • Understanding of similarities and differences between ABC, Zero Based Reviews, and breakeven analysis
  • Knowledge of both budget planning and budget execution
  • Self-motivated approach with strong organization, prioritization, and attention to detail under tight deadlines
  • Interpersonal skills to build relationships and communicate across leadership, staff, and a range of internal and external stakeholders

  • Salary range: USD 113,000 to 188,000 per year
  • Travel required: Up to 10%
