Job Description
voestalpine Precision Strip LLC is seeking a seasoned finance leader to guide financial strategy and drive operational excellence at the Brunswick, Ohio site. This onsite executive role emphasizes financial planning, accurate reporting, and close collaboration with leadership to support growth and site development. The position offers a salary range of USD 120,000 to 140,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain and enhance internal financial controls.
- Oversee timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement financial strategies that support company goals.
- Analyze economic trends and market conditions to identify growth opportunities.
- Support long-term capital planning and financial modeling for future site and organizational development.
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations.
- Develop strategies to optimize cash management and maximize financial efficiency.
- Improve working capital performance across receivables, payables, and inventory-related processes.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team.
- Partner with HR to support organizational development, training, and compliance with employment regulations.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards, audits, and financial regulations.
- Oversee internal and external audit activities and drive timely resolution of findings.
- Communicate financial performance, strategy, and insights to executives, operational leaders, and the board of directors.
- Prepare clear, well-structured financial presentations and reports for stakeholder meetings.
- Serve as a key advisor to leadership by providing actionable financial insights and recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Experience overseeing or partnering closely with Human Resources.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, forecasting, cost accounting, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a global, matrixed organization.
