What you get
This on site interim role in Charleston, West Virginia offers a six month contract with potential extension. The position combines hands on accounting and strategic finance work for a for profit hospital, with a workload split roughly 75 percent accounting and 25 percent finance. Compensation is USD 70 to 85 per hour, with a benefits package that includes 401K options, professional development opportunities, holiday programs, and potential bonus opportunities. You will report to the hospital CFO and regional leaders.

Responsibilities
- Provide hands on month end close, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations
- Lead budgeting processes
- Conduct variance analysis
- Forecast financial performance
- Provide daily reporting on revenue, cash, and census
Requirements
- 5+ years of proven finance and accounting experience, with 2+ years in a for profit hospital or physician care environment
- Hands on experience with month end close process (journal entries, reconciliations)
- Bachelor's degree in finance, or similar
- Strong expertise in Excel (Pivot tables, LOOKUPs, queries)
- Readily available, willing to travel to West Virginia, and able to commit to 6+ months
